Alex Cooper has been a volunteer with the Argyle’s fundraising group since 2017 and has been serving on the board, leading outreach and communication efforts since 2018. In addition to over 15 years of sales and marketing experience with companies such as the Cirque du Soleil, Alex has also been very involved in Montreal’s music community and playing in bands both locally and internationally. Alex has a great passion to raise awareness of the Argyle both within the community and among donors and foundations so that its services may reach more of those in need.

David is a licensed Psychotherapist since 2013 when he obtained his OPQ Permit. Some of David’s specialities include Marriage and Family Therapy, Men’s issues, Sexuality Issues, Relationship transitions, and coping skills. The types of therapy he practices are CBT, Psychodynamic and Systemic as well as Relational – David helps to provide the therapists perspective on the Board of Directors.

Elisa became a member of the Order of Psychologists of Quebec in 2017. She has been working in private practice as a licensed Psychologist in Montreal since, providing psychodynamic psychotherapy to adults and young adults. After completing the post-graduate Individual Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program at the Argyle Institute, Elisa became a clinical member of the Argyle embracing its values and mission. She has also taught and supervised within the Psychodynamic program and is the Chair of the Education Committee at the same Institute.

Joseph Morcos is a multilingual, seasoned psychotherapist (OPQ) who began his private practice in 2012 When he completed an M.A. in counseling psychology with excellence from McGill and proudly joined the Order of Guidance Counsellors of Quebec (OCCOQ). For his post-graduate studies, he successfully completed the Individual Psychodynamic Training Program (IPTP) at the Argyle Institute of Human Relations. Joseph holds a permit to practice as a psychotherapist from the Order of Psychologists of Québec (OPQ). He is currently on the board of directors of the Association of Quebec Psychotherapists (APQ) and the board of directors as well as the Group Therapy committee of the Argyle Institute of Human Relations.

Lisa is a psychotherapist and couple therapist who has been with the Argyle Institute since 2000 when she began the post-Master’s clinical training in Marital and Family Therapy. Her clinical work is predominantly with individual adults over the age of 19. Her clinical approach draws from psychodynamic, short-term experiential dynamic, EFT, CBT, and Mindful Self-Compassion. She has been the chair of the Argyle Membership Committee since 2016 and also a director on the Argyle board of directors since 2019.

Maria Ricciardelli is a counsellor whose private practise is located in Montreal’s West Island. She holds a MSW from McGill University and completed a three-year program in Individual and Group Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (Allan Memorial Institute). Along with these, Maria has two management certificates through UQTR and Université Laval. Her 33 years of employment with the region’s health and social services network where she held a variety of postings ranging from front-line social work to management have helped shape her belief of the importance of accessibility to counselling and psychotherapy. A member of the OTSTCFQ and of the OCSWSSW, Maria is a firm believer in lifelong learning. As a testament to this, she is completing her requirements with the OPQ to obtain her psychotherapy permit.

Moira is the Past-President of the Board of Directors of the Argyle Institute, and has been a member of the organization since 2010. Moira is a Psychotherapist and Couple & Family Therapist in private practice in Montreal. With over a decade of experience, she provides confidential psycho-therapeutic counseling on a range of personal and relational issues to individuals, couples and families. She also teaches the Ethics course in the Marital and Family Therapy program at the Argyle. Moira holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from McGill University, a Postgraduate Accredited Diploma in Marital and Family Therapy (MFT) from the Argyle Institute, and an Honors Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Queen’s University. She is a licensed member of the Quebec Order of Social Workers and Marital Family Therapists.
